This series stems from the need to depart from one’s place of origin in search of a meaningful presence in the world, following the experience of lockdown. It is intended as a somber yet intimate travelogue in which the artist has collected images from various places where they have resided during a period marked by frequent travel. In each of these locations, the artist has sought the comfort of familiarity while yearning for the unknown with each new experience.
