Murlo cyanotype printing, 2025
From earth to bread, a transformative experience that brought me to Murlo, where I participated in a short artist residency to study the local territory.
Murlo is a place rich in history, closely tied to the ancient Etruscan people, who left significant traces of their culture and traditions there.
During my stay, I explored the relationship between the land and bread, focusing on the symbolism of bread as an essential element of daily life.
Through observing the landscape, historical research, and engaging with local residents, I sought to understand how the past and present intertwine in this unique location. This investigation was not only historical but also sensory and creative, evolving into a dialogue between the land, its heritage, and my artistic vision.
